Bulgaria has increased the number of serviced aircrafts by 50% over a 10-year period, Transport Minister Dаnail Papazov told Frank Brenner, Director General of Eurocontrol. At the same time the air navigation fees have been decreased.
Bulgaria is in the top three by implementation of aviation funds management plans for 2012, said Papazov. A total of 563 063 planes have crossed our airspace in 2012.
Minister Papazov said that Bulgaria is in talks with airline companies from Armenia and Georgia who are planning to enter the Bulgarian market.
