Under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Development start the remote internships for Bulgarian students studying abroad, in cooperation with the Bulgarian business. The initiative aims to create a stronger link between the state, the business and the Bulgarian students, who have chosen to study abroad, which under appropriate conditions could be a bridge for the young people to return to Bulgaria. The motto of the initiative for 2014 is: "Bulgaria needs you".
The programme will help maintain active relations with the young Bulgarians abroad, their participation in public life in the country and will especially contribute to acquaint the Bulgarian business with good practices in different economic sectors abroad, innovative and creative solutions in various cases, including different and less common languages. The internships do not require students to be in Bulgaria currently. They will be carried out remotely from the country where the students learn. This approach is fully aligned with the studying process, which makes the remote internships extremely flexible, useful and effective.
The first 31 remote internships in nine professional areas have already been announced in the Portal for student internships in the state administration - http://staj.government.bg/. The application process for the internship opportunities, recruitment, selection, classification of applicants is performed online. The internship positions in the field of informatics, economics and tourism are among the most attractive.
