Machine building, power engineering and ecology to become the focus of the International Technical Fair

The sectors of machine building and power engineering show signs of revitalization after a three-year period of crisis. This is obvious from the applications for participation in the upcoming International Technical Fair from 24 – 29 September 2012 submitted by Bulgarian and foreign companies. Companies engaged in these sectors are active participants in the most prestigious forum of investment goods and technologies in Southeast Europe, organized by International Fair Plovdiv.

According to expectations, the increased interest in the Autumn Fair will be maintained this year. The sectors related to power engineering and water are the most attractive sectors for the investors at present. Hopes for an upward development of the machine-building industry are associated with an increase in imports.

The growing economic activity in the country will have a positive effect on the exhibitions Machine Building, ENECO (Power Engineering and Ecology), AQUATECH ( Water Management and Technologies) and ELTECH (Electronics and Electrical Engineering), which are part of the International Technical Fair. Further exhibitions within the framework of the Autumn Fair 2012 are AUTOTECH (Transport and Auto Service Equipment), INFOTECH (Information Technologies), STROYTECH (Building Materials, Machines and Technologies), INTERMIN EXPO (Mining Industry) and MOTOR SHOW PLOVDIV.
