The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, held a meeting with Mr. Savvas Karafyllidis, President of the Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Karafyllidis informed that the joint chamber is preparing an economic forum, which will take place on September 7 within the framework of the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair at HELEXPO (September 6–14).
The topic of the forum will focus on Bulgaria’s accession to the Eurozone as of January 1, 2026 – a historic step toward the country’s economic and monetary convergence.
The forum is being organized with the support of the Bulgarian government, national development agencies, private Bulgarian financial institutions, and in cooperation with the Green Transition Forum.

It was agreed that representatives of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will actively participate in the forum. A presentation of Bulgarian companies is also planned within the framework of the exhibition. This year, the Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Industry will be exhibiting at Stand B2 in Pavilion 16, which is a central location within the exhibition area. On September 8, a seminar will be held by Baker Tilly, a member of the Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
