The Burgas refinery Neftochim invested оver 35 million dollars in treatment installations in Burgas, which will reduce air emissions, reported pressadaily.bg.
The plant carried out reconstruction and modernization of the existing kotel and installed filtering system. It is a new generation technology in the field of oil and this is one of its first applications in the EU. Dust emissions from catalytic decreased several times compared to currently used facilities. The value of the investment is over 20 million dollars. The facilities operate fully in accordance with the requirements of the European Union.
Another significant investment for 15 million dollars is the construction of systems for the purification of flue gases of two furnaces in production and water treatment facilities.
