The Minister of Economy signed three investment certificates under the Investment Promotion Act


The Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov signed three investment certificates under the Investment Promotion Act (IPA) worth a total of BGN 8.3 million, which will create nearly 300 new jobs. Two investments - the one of „Pharmalex Bulgaria“ and „BADER Bulgaria“ received a Class A certificate, and a third investment made by „ROCK 7“ EOOD received a Class B certificate.

Minister Borissov pointed out that according to preliminary data, investments are beginning to recover in the third quarter of the year. According to him, their growth in the structure of GDP in the third, compared to the end of the second quarter is 4.3 percent in real terms. The Minister of Economy stressed that according to the data of the international investment position of Bulgaria supported by the BNB, the growth of investments for the last year is EUR 1 billion, and from the beginning of the mandate of the government – EUR 6 billion.

BADER Bulgaria's investment is for the production of upholstery for the automotive industry, which will be realized on the territory of the municipality of Rousse. The project amounts to BGN 1,500,000, and it will create 180 new jobs. „BADER Bulgaria“ KD is part of the world leader in the production of automotive interiors – „BADER GROUP“ GmbH KD, based in Germany. The company is a leader in the production of leather for the automotive market and has over 11,300 employees in 15 modern facilities located on 5 continents. The investment project is related to the establishment of a company for sewing car interiors.

The second project, which received a Class A investment certificate, is for the expansion of the activity of Pharmalex Bulgaria AD, as the investment in it amounts to BGN 120,000 and 60 new jobs will be created. The subject of activity in the company is the provision of consulting and marketing services, market research, activities related to analysis and processing of data from product research in the healthcare sector and related fields. The company plans to expand its activities in areas related to development, regulatory activities, drug safety, quality and compliance.

The project of „ROCK 7“ EOOD, which received a class B investment certificate, is for the construction of an enterprise for the production of stone wool, which will be implemented in the municipality of Targovishte. The investment is for BGN 6,770,000, and 49 new jobs will be created. The investment project expect the plant construction for production of basalt stone wool with a capacity of 10,000 tons per year.
