The majority of the total 350 company customers in Germany will be serviced from Sofia. According to Michael Eberhardt, vice president of HP Enterprise Services in Germany, the experience of HP in Bulgaria is very successful. "There are several parameters that are important and have contributed to our decision. These are political stability and good infrastructure which have enabled us to expand our presence. Another factor is our good cooperation with universities here and in particular the interest of young people in the IT industry as a whole" he says.
Currently the company has 200 employees who are already working on the project, and within the next year this figure is expected to rise to 700 people, to deal with network support, storage, backup, messaging systems, cloud systems.
