Meeting with the representative of BCCI in China

The President of the Bulgarian – Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representative of BCCI in China Mr. Lachezar Dinev visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov.

During the meeting, the state of the Bulgarian – Chinese economic relations was discussed. Lachezar Dinev provided detailed information on the implementation of projects developed by the Bulgarian – Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the field of finance, trade, investment, healthcare, etc. BCCI reminds that the Bulgarian – Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry assists Bulgarian companies willing to enter the Chinese market through the establishment of joint ventures and also helps Chinese investors that intend to enter the Bulgarian market.

Tsvetan Simeonov and his guest also discussed the measures that need to be taken by the government and business community in order to increase Bulgaria’s visibility on the Chinese market and attract Chinese investors to the country. BCCI’s President expressed readiness to support future joint activities aiming to expand the economic cooperation and to assist Bulgarian companies interested in the Chinese market.

The upcoming joint initiatives in relation to the cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European countries (“16+1”) were also discussed. In July, Bulgaria will host the first international meeting on multinational financial cooperation under the “16+1” initiative.
