Multivac Bulgaria Production Ltd. opened a new building on its production site in the Sofia - Bozhurishte Industrial Park

Multivac Bulgaria Production Ltd. opened a new building on its production site in the Sofia - Bozhurishte Industrial Park on 27 March. Economy and Industry Minister Nikola Stoyanov took part in the formal event for the BGN 12 million investment.

The new part of the plant has a built-up area of over 5,500 square metres, of which the production area covers 4,000 sq m, the company said. The investment amounts to EUR 5 million in building stock and EUR 1 million in equipment in the first stage. To date, the company's total investment in Bulgaria tops EUR 25 million. About 100 jobs are expected to be created and the recruitment of new teams in shared services will continue.

Stoyanov said: "Such projects are an assessment of the opportunities for doing business in Bulgaria. Your work in the last five years here is the main reason why you decided to invest another BGN 12 million in Bulgaria and in production expansion." He praised the organization at the plant, thanks to which many employees have been with the company since 2018. He is confident that the new 100 employees will feel very comfortable.

Multivac is one of the leading suppliers of packaging solutions for all types of food, biological and medical products and industrial goods. Its Bulgarian factory opened in 2018. The company has 12 production sites in Germany, Austria, Spain, Brazil, China, Japan, and the United States.
