The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce an Industry sent letters to H.Exc. Mr. Shaul Kamisa-Raz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Republic of Bulgaria, and Mr. Uriel Lynn, President of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce. BCCI offers its condolences to the family and friends of the victims and to those who have been injured in the terrorist attack.
Bulgaria condemns all forms of terrorism and violence being incomprehensible and absolutely unacceptable, the letters read. Bulgaria is a country where a lot of ethnicities and religions have peacefully coexisted for centuries and where tolerance is a fundamental value to society. Therefore, our shock of what happened is even greater but so is our determination to prevent similar incidents in the future.
BCCI is adamant that the perpetrators of this cruel act of terrorism must be brought to justice and punished as soon as they have been identified regardless of the efforts and resources.
