Successful cooperation between Bulgaria and Romania

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with Radu-Calin Moldovan, Minister-Counsellor at the Romanian Embassy, on the occasion of the end of his second term in Bulgaria.

Simeonov expressed his satisfaction with the joint work and highlighted the importance of the established effective and fruitful cooperation by both countries in favor of business.

The cooperation between BCCI and the Embassy of Romania in Sofia over the past few years is reflected in numerous joint initiatives and events. Among them are the business forum in Sofia, with the participation of the Presidents of both countries /2016/, the participation of the Bulgarian business delegation in the first business event of the Three Seas Initiative in Bucharest /2018/, organized by the CCI of Romania, as well as events, related to Romania's Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2019.

Minister-Counsellor Moldovan expressed his gratitude for the successful cooperation and stressed that the bilateral economic relations indicate growth. Since 2014, the goods traded have grown on average by 6% annually, as the balance will be in favor for Bulgaria.
