Stanislav Novakov, Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Bulgaria, and Plamen Yurukov, Chairman of the Bulgarian-Kazakhstani Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited BCCI and talked with its President Tsvetan Simeonov.
The meeting was held in connection with the forthcoming creation of a Bulgaria-Kazakhstan Joint Business Council. It was established that the present moment is the right time to strengthen the economic relations between the two countries.
In this connection, BCCI is organising a Bulgarian-Kazakhstani Business Forum with bilateral business meetings on the occasion of the visit of a business delegation from Kazakhstan in Bulgaria. The event will take place on 20 October 2026 at BCCI.

Data of the Ministry of Economy, Investments and Industry show that in 2025, the exchange of goods between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan kept its volume and amounted to $1.141 billion US dollars (-5.6% compared to 2024), from which our export was $110.71 million US dollars (+7%) and our import from Kazakhstan was $1.020 billion US dollars (-6.8%).
