The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), the BCCI Investment Council and the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA), in partnership with Sofia Municipality, are organising the 7th edition of the International Conference “Financial and Investment Support for SMEs – Sofia International Money Expo (SIM Expo) 2026”, held under the motto “Sofia – A Regional Financial Hub”.
The conference will take place on 5 November 2026 at Sofia Balkan Palace Hotel, Sofia.
Over the years, the event has established itself as one of Bulgaria’s leading national platforms for presenting financial and investment opportunities to small and medium-sized enterprises. Each year, the conference brings together representatives of government institutions, European financial organisations, the banking sector, investment and guarantee funds, the business community and academia.
The theme of this year’s edition, “Sofia – A Regional Financial Hub”, will focus on financial instruments supporting SMEs, the development of capital markets, investment, innovation, the fintech sector, and the opportunities that Bulgaria’s entry into the euro area creates for businesses and the investment environment.
SIM Expo 2026 aims to enhance the financial and investment literacy of SMEs by presenting accessible instruments for business development, financing and strategic positioning. The event will bring together leading representatives of institutions, financial organisations, investors, entrepreneurs and experts, who will present concrete mechanisms, best practices and innovative solutions in the context of the green transition, digitalisation and economic recovery.
The conference will serve as a platform for strategic dialogue, partnerships and the exchange of ideas aimed at accelerating SMEs’ access to sustainable finance, innovation and international markets. Participants will have the opportunity to present their projects, explore current trends and establish meaningful business connections supporting growth and transformation in the new economic environment.
