BCCI and the Algerian Trade and Economic Affairs Office Discussed Future Joint Activities and Initiatives

Grudi Grudev, a newly appointed TEAO employee to the Bulgarian Embassy in Algeria, visited BCCI and held a meeting with the Chamber Vice President, Dr Vasil Todorov, PhD.

The guest was acquainted with BCCI membership and its activity within many international organisations such as the International Chamber of Commerce - Paris, the World Trade Center - WTC, Eurochambers, etc. Mr Todorov noted that BCCI's partners in Algeria are the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of Algerian Employers, which have signed Cooperation Agreements with the Chamber.

The discussion included the options for the future development of trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Algeria. It was agreed that in the near future, the BCCI team, together with the Trade and Economic Affairs Office, organises online meetings by sector with interested companies from both countries with the purpose of presenting the options for Bulgarian companies to participate in public auctions in Algeria. BCCI will additionally provide information on the period of holding the meetings.
