Hannah Kamenetsky, Commercial Attaché at the US Embassy in Bulgaria, visited BCCI and, together with the Chamber President Tsvetan Simeonov, she discussed the opportunities for developing the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and the USA. The meeting was also attended by Peter Delin, Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy.
Mr Simeonov acquainted the guests with the 130-year history and activity of BCCI in support of businesses, emphasising the advantages of the voluntary Trade register of the Chamber and the digitalised Arbitration Court. Up-to-date information was provided on Bulgaria’s position in the international economic rankings.
The representatives of the Embassy Commercial Section gave information about a forthcoming event – the SelectUSA Investment Summit. The Forum is the largest one in the USA and it is a global platform for penetrating new markets, expanding the business and providing business opportunities in the USA. The Forum is held for the 11th time this year and gathers together representatives of all US states and territories, federal agencies, funding organisations and most importantly, representatives of businesses from the USA and from all over the world – over 5,500 participants. The event will take place from 3 to 6 May 2026 at the Gaylord National Harbor Convention Center (near the capital Washington D.C.).
