H.E. Mr. Đorđe Janković, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Sofia, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and held talks with its President, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.
Ambassador Janković announced the upcoming session of the Joint Bulgarian-Montenegrin Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, scheduled for October 21–22, 2026, in Podgorica, Montenegro. BCCI’s governing body was also invited to join the high-level AIM 2026 conference – 'From Partnerships to Projects: Investing in the European Future of Montenegro' – in Portonovi, Montenegro, on October 20–21, 2026.
For his part, Mr. Simeonov briefed the Ambassador on the ongoing cooperation between BCCI and the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro within the Eurochambres network. It was agreed that both countries need enhanced logistical connectivity, highlighting the development of joint tourism packages aimed at long-haul travelers, as a promising opportunity.
