The Ministry of Finance reopened an issue of 5-year government securities (GS) which was put into circulation on 28 January 2026. The issue is denominated in euro, matures on 28.01.2031 and has an annual interest coupon of 2.75%.
The volume of the issue in circulation was increased by EUR 100 million at the auction held on 27 July 2026, reaching a nominal value of EUR 550 million. The annual weighted average yield reported at the auction is 3.43%.
The total subscribed amount reached EUR 183.95 million, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.84. The spread reported vis-à-vis the analogous German federal bonds is 54 basis points.
