Discussion of the Potential for Development and Diversification of Trade between Bulgaria and Morocco
The Head of the Trade and Economic Affairs Office in Rabat, Krasimir Yashev, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and held a meeting with the BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov. During the discussion, they explored opportunities for strengthening trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Morocco.
Tsvetan Simeonov presented the advantages of the Unified Voluntary Trade Register of the BCCI as a tool for searching for business partners, as well as the possibilities for issuing company references and providing practical information beneficial to business.
For his part, Krasimir Yashev informed about meetings held with the managements of the chambers of commerce and industry in the Rabat - Sale - Kenitra and Casablanca regions, as well as about the expressed interest in developing cooperation with the BCCI through the organization of joint initiatives and business visits.
In view of the current situation in the Middle East, the possibility of more active promotion of Morocco's tourism potential was also discussed, including through participation in major international tourism exhibitions in the country.
During the meeting, potential for the development and diversification of trade between Bulgaria and Morocco was identified. Currently, wheat and cereals account for the largest share of Bulgarian exports to Morocco, and interest in the pharmaceutical sector in Bulgaria was noted.
