The Bulgarian-Australian Business Council (BABC) marked its 8th anniversary with a special event held under the motto “Australia Meets Bulgaria.”
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), attended the celebration as a special guest. The event brought together members of the Council, diplomats, partners, and friends. Among the distinguished guests was Mr. Lachlan Scully, Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in Athens.
The evening featured an inspiring musical program that symbolically united the two countries: Campbell Diamond, an internationally acclaimed classical guitarist from Canberra, Australia, shared the stage with Bobby Kosatkata /the Orca/, the charismatic frontman of the Bulgarian band Tangra.
Ms. Yoana Kehlibarova, President of the Bulgarian-Australian Business Council, received congratulations on the organization’s anniversary and announced that the Council’s next initiative—an Australian Barbecue event—is scheduled to take place at the end of May.
