The Vice-President of BCCI George Stoev took part in the Business Forum “Cooperation across Borders: Eastern Partnership and Beyond” which was held in Riga. In his capacity of Chairman of the Trade and Investment Committee of EUROCHAMBRES he met with the newly-elected President of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Aigars Rostovskis and with representatives of the chambers of commerce of Estonia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Portugal and Luxembourg. George Stoev presented the activity of the Trade and Investment Committee and informed the participants about the upcoming events in June – the Plenary Session of EUROCHAMBRES in Jurmala, the meeting of the Board of Directors of EUROCHAMBRES in Sofia, as well as the celebration of BCCI’s 120th anniversary.
The representatives of the European chambers are delegates in the Eastern Partnership conference, held on 21st and 22nd May 2015 in Riga under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Latvia Mr. Andris Berzins. During the conference the Vice-President of BCCI took part in the discussion on the economic perspectives of the Eastern Partnership and in the parallel session “Transport and logistics infrastructure”.
