The largest copper producer for Southeast Europe is planning investment programme worth EUR 180 million entitled "Aurubis Bulgaria Spectrum 2018". It is planned in the period 2015-2018 and has several main aspects, which include direct and indirect investments. This has become clear during a the press-conference, at which the focus of the company for the future period was presented – principles of sustainable production process and environmental protection.
Investments worth over BGN 1 billion have been made in the metallurgical plant in the Srednogorie Region into upgrading and renovating the equipment and introducing new technologies. Based on these achievements, the company has become one of the biggest investors in the field of industry in the last 25 years.
