BCCI – distinguished by Bulgaria Invest Agency for excellent partnership in 2014

The President of BCCI – Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov was given the award for excellent partnership with Invest Bulgaria Agency (IBA) in 2014 in the presence of the President Rosen Plevneliev, ministers, Members of Parliament, investors and diplomats at the award ceremony at which the Investor of the Year annual awards of IBA were handed out.

Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov said that he considered the prize as a reward for all Bulgarians who seek to encourage investment, it was a reward for all employees in the system of BCCI and its presentation in the presence of the Head of State, members of government, ambassadors and investors gave it a special value.

"We shall double our efforts to attract investments and encourage investors," said Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov and expressed hope for even better results in attracting investments.

"Every investor is important to us - both billionaires and those with small projects, large scale and small ones" said the President Rosen Plevneliev and stressed that each investor is part of Bulgaria's road to modernization and making the country a a good place for doing business.

Devnya Cement has won the Investor of the Year award for 2014 of the InvestBulgaria Agency.

German company Behr-Hella thermocontrol won the Green investment of the year award, while the Burgas-based Lukoil Neftochim refinery won the Investment in expanding award.

Bulgarian software company Telerik won the Investment in merger/acquisition award.

The Investment in human capital award went to Yazaki Bulgaria.

Teklas Bulgaria won the Investment in innovation prize, while pharmaceutical company Bulpharma emerged winner in the Investment in conquering a market category.

C & C Textiles won the award for Successful startup.

Copper producer Aurubis Bulgaria won the award for investment in environmental protection.
