Google and bTV are once again the strongest brands in Bulgaria
The global Internet search engine Google is once again the strongest brand in Bulgaria and the national television channel bTV continues to be a leader amongst Bulgarian brands. This was the result from the independent research of the consumer segment on the Bulgarian market, initiated by the global organization Superbrands, which takes place for the fourth time in a row in Bulgaria.
For the first time in its history, three new Bulgarian brands enter the TOP 20 rankings - Nova TV, Abv.bg and HAPPY, out of five in total.
From a total of 1500 nominated brands from various categories and sectors operating on the Bulgarian market, 500 were selected for Superbrands in the jubilee promotional program of the international branding organization for 2015-2016.
Some of the category and sector leaders kept their positions, but there is dynamics in others: Kaufland took the first position from BILLA in the supermarkets category, First Investment Bank overtook UniCredit Bulbalk, the former leader in Financial institutions, and VIVACOM took the first position from Mtel in the Telecommunications category. Vereia and Danone Activia share the leading position in dairy products, and Allianz Bulgaria and DZI are also both on first place in the insurance segment.
