Expanding the cooperation between BCCI and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco

The Deputy Head of the Mission at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Sofia Ms. Imane Ouaadil and Mr. Strashimir Naydenov - PR of the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of  Morocco in Plovdiv, had a meeting with the Secretary General of the Chamber Mr. Vasil Todorov.

They have discussed ideas for expanding trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Morocco. Mr. Vasil Todorov presented possible areas of cooperation between the BCCI and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, including: organizing business forums and delegations, sending information about offers, preparation of reports and economic analysis, etc..

According to Ms.Imane Ouaadil in order to strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries, it is necessary to define the sectors of mutual interest. The strategic location of Morocco is attractive for foreign investors because it allows establishment of relations with North Africa and other parts of the continent. Important for the country's economy are the international exhibitions in the field of agriculture and fisheries.

The Deputy Head of the Mission at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Sofia informed the participants in the meeting, that the 10th edition of the International Agricultural Fair  (SIAM), will be held from April 29 to May 3, 2015 in Meknes, Morocco . This is an exhibition, specialized in the presentation of agricultural production,  animal breeding, agricultural equipment, plant and machinery, irrigation systems, seeds and foodstuffs and this is the leading exhibition, held in North Africa, she said.
