Meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers in Bulgaria

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Spain in Bulgaria /CICEB/ hosted the first meeting for 2015 of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers in Bulgaria.

The meeting was opened by the President of CICEB Albert Marco. According to him Spanish companies are not very active in Eastern Europe. Nevertheless there are new areas of cooperation and targeting of Spanish investments towards infrastructure, construction of feed mills and fish farms and processing plants. The participants have been informed about the main problems that Spanish companies face on the Bulgarian market, namely: difficulties in participating in tender procedures, "foreseeability of the legislation" and recognition of educational degrees and diplomas.

BCCI gave a brief overview of the activities of the Club of Joint Chambers in 2014. Three meetings of the Club were held in 2014. The main focus of these meetings was the need for innovations in the work of Chambers and facilitation of business.
