BCCI's President and the Ambassador of Poland discussed prospects for the development of the trade and economic relations

H.E. Krzysztof Krajewski, the newly appointed Ambassador of Poland to Bulgaria, visited the BCCI and was introduced to the activities and the structure of the Chamber. During the talks with President Tsvetan Simeonov, prospects for the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation were discussed. They shared the common opinion that there is untapped potential for greater collaboration in this field.

According to data by the Ministry of Economy and Energy, the trade exchange between the two countries in 2013 rose by 23.1% reaching EUR 1.135.274 million (2.4% of the total trade exchange of our country).

Our exports to Poland in 2013 increased by 11.3% and amounted to EUR 404.382 million, which is 1.8% of the total exports (14th position). Imports for the same period increased by 31% and amounted to EUR 730.891 million, which represents 2.8% of all our imports (11th position).
