Meeting with the General Secretary of the International Organization of Employers
In Geneva, during the 102th International Labour Conference, a bipartite meeting between the General Secretary of the International Organization of Employers (IOE), Mr. Brent Wilton, and the General Secretary of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Mr. Vassil Todorov, was held.
During the meeting Brent Wilton was acquainted to the economic situation in Bulgaria and the status of the social dialogue. The issue about the unconstitutional changes to the Law of Property of persons of senior state positions was subject to their discussion. IOE’s General Secretary supported the stand of the Bulgarian Organizations of Employers against those changes and endorsed IOE’s willingness to bring the case for consideration at an International level – in the framework of the International Labour Organization.
