Business seminar “Kazakhstan – Bulgaria: opportunities for commercial and economic collaboration“


BCCI hosted the business seminar: „Kazakhstan – Bulgaria: opportunities for commercial and economic collaboration“. The event was held on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Sofia.

The business seminar was inaugurated by the Secretary-General Vassil Todorov. He welcomed the guests, presented the trends in the bipartite economic relations and also highlighted the importance of undertaking some measures for encouraging the Bulgarian export to China, Japan, Kazakhstan, India and other Eastern destinations.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Temirtay Izbastin, welcomed the representatives of the business and expressed willingness, on behalf of the Embassy, to further cooperate for the establishment of the bipartite relations.  

More than 35 Bulgarian companies participated in the seminar and extended their issues. Sectors like tourism, power engineering, metallurgy and agriculture were of significant interest for the guests.
