BCCI’s President presented a report at the 102nd International Labour Conference


BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov, in his capacity of a Delegate representing the Bulgarian employers’ organizations at the 102nd International Labour Conference (ILC) held in Geneva, presented the overall stand regarding the report of the ILO’s Director General, Guy Ryder.

Tsvetan Simeonov put emphasis on the ILO’s role worldwide. „Due to the current economic hardships the tension in the society is growing. It is ILO’s mission to be once again a focal point for all representatives of the partners that determine the social status of the society – employers, trade unions and governments.“, said BCCI’s President.

Tsvetan Simeonov described as well the current status of the social dialogue in Bulgaria, by indicating the need of eliminating the obstacles on the way to its normal development.

In conclusion BCCI’s President expressed willingness to fully support the activities and the role of the International Labour Organization and the International Labour Conference on behalf of the Bulgarian employers’ organizations.
