Opportunities of investing and doing business in Argentina were presented at BCCI


Seminar on presenting the opportunities of investing and doing business in Argentina was held at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was organized jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in Bulgaria. 

BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov said that the Chamber, regularly with the kind cooperation of the Embassy, releases information on the bilateral relations Bulgaria-Argentina. The purpose of such events is exactly to provide with a reliable source of information the Bulgarian companies interested thereat.

Tsvetan Simeonov said that BCCI maintains very good relations with the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is currently at an advanced stage of signing an agreement for cooperation.

H.E. Mr. Guillermo Asrak, Ambassador to the Argentine Republic in Bulgaria, said that a great number of events have been held, jointly with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the purpose to promote the bilateral relations with Argentina. “The long distance does not prevent the strengthening of our partnership“, added H.E. Mr. Guillermo Asrak. He presented to the guests of the seminar the main indicators of Argentina, such as population, location, partnerships in international organisations.

Argentina is a promising investment destination in sectors like food and beverages, renewable energy, new technologies.

Alexander Dimitrov, Expert “Economic Analyses and Researches” at BCCI, made a presentation of the results of the market research, conducted by the request of the Embassy of Argentina, on the development of engineering in the food industry in Bulgaria. Alexander Dimitrov shared the opinion that the results have revealed great potential for the establishment of the relations between the two countries. There is an opportunity of bilateral cooperation in the exchange of technologies and raw materials for the manufacture of food products.

The event has passed with great interest and the guests were given the opportunity to ask questions to the representatives of the Embassy.
