The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) conferred with a Brazilian business delegation
The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, met with a delegation of Brazilian entrepreneurs led by Cleomar de Castro, Director of the Bulgarian-Brazilian Cultural Institute. During the meeting, the discussions focused on opportunities for expanding the bilateral trade and economic cooperation, as well as fostering the business contacts between Bulgaria and Brazil.
Tsvetan Simeonov highlighted BCCI’s scope of activities and services designed to support the business. The operation of the Arbitration Court at the BCCI and the process of establishing a trade representation in Bulgaria generated strong interest among the visitors.
During the meeting, the Brazilian entrepreneurs introduced their companies to the BCCI’s management, highlighting operations in sectors such as information technology, software development for agriculture and transport, marble production and trade, consulting services, and other industries. Interest was expressed in establishing partnerships with Bulgarian companies, particularly in IT, including joint project execution and the outsourcing of highly qualified specialists. Additionally, company registration procedures in Bulgaria, conditions for issuing the EU Blue Card for skilled professionals, and investment opportunities were discussed.
Special attention was paid to the idea of creating a Bulgarian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, which would work to invigorate economic relations between the two countries and expand cooperation between their business communities.
