In the second quarter of 2026, the newly registered legal entities in the country were 11 334, and those declared bankrupt – 966, ассоrding to data of the National Statistiscal Institute. Compared to the same quarter of 2025, the total number of newly registered companies decreased by 9.2% and that of bankruptcies - by 17.7%.
Compared to the first quarter of 2026, the number of newly registered legal entities decreased by 8.9% and the number of those that declared bankruptcy - by 5.9%.

In the second quarter of 2026, the companies from sector G 'Trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles' had the largest relative share of both newly registered and bankrupt companies, respectively - 83.7 and 86.4%.
