Quo vadis Europe: EU Slovak presidency Event on 1st of July in Sofia

A week after the British referendum and months before the Bulgarian presidency of the EU, a public discussion on the topic „Quo vadis Europe: Actual challenges for the European Union and Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU" will be held on 1st of July, 2016 (Friday) at 11:00, Hotel Balkan (Sheraton), Sofia. Organizers: PanEurope-Bulgaria together with Embassy of the Slovak Republic to Bulgaria, European Commission in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute and Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Keynote speakers on the event will be Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Bulgaria, H.E. Marian Jakubocy and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Tomislav Donchev.
Ambassador Jakubocy will present for the first time in public the priorities of the Slovak presidency of the Council of the EU in the light of the challenges for EU such as the British referendum and the migrants crisis. Deputy Prime Minister Donchev will focus on the Bulgarian perspective.
