Meeting of Croatian and Bulgarian entrepreneurs in Sofia – presentation of Croatian wines protected by a designation of origin
The Economic Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Republic of Bulgaria organized a presentation of Croatian wines protected by the Designation of Origin (PDO) on April 28, 2026, at the Central Military Club in Sofia.
The participants were welcomed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Jasna Ognjanovac, and the coordinator of the entire event was Ms. Sanja Guberina, Commercial Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Republic of Bulgaria. The presentation was also attended by representatives of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.
During the event, Croatian producers presented a wide range of Croatian wines from a variety of Croatian regions, including the Dubrovnik area, the Šibenik and Split areas, Istria, central Croatia and Slavonia.
The aim of the event was to present high-quality Croatian wines to the Bulgarian market and establish new business connections between Croatian and Bulgarian entrepreneurs.
After the presentation of Croatian products, participants had the opportunity for direct communication, product tasting and organizing B2B meetings.

- Testament Winery (Šibenik-Knin County)
- Wine Hvar (Split-Dalmatia County)
- Kadum Winery (Istria County)
- Miklaužić Winery (Sisačko-Moslavina County)
- Kutjevo d.d. (Požega-Slavonia County)
- Belje plus (Osijek-Baranja County)
- Royal Hill (Osijek-Baranja County)
- Osilovac (Osijek-Baranja County)
This initiative was accepted with pleasure by Croatian winemakers as well as the Bulgarian business community that was present at the event and represents a very good potential for expanding future cooperation in this area.
