The New Minister Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Greek Embassy in Sofia Visited BCCI
Tzanetos Karantzis, a newly appointed Minister Counselor for economic and commercial affairs at the Greek Embassy in Sofia, met with BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov. Zhivka Nikolova, a Secretary at the Embassy, also participated in the meeting.
During the conversation, the interlocutors discussed the excellent cooperation between the Embassy team and the Chamber, as well as the work on different initiatives related to increasing the exchange of goods and the economic benefits for both countries.
In this regard, the modernisation of infrastructure, the coordination of the strategic projects and the maximum use of the European funding are of key importance. The funds from the INTERREG Programme between the two countries are directed towards improving public services, tourism and the green transition.
Over 880 companies with Greek capital and 57 representation offices are registered in the BCCI Trade Register.
Data from the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) show that at the end of 2025, the aggregate investments from Greece in Bulgaria amounted to EURO 3.54 billion.
