PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS IN BULGARIA

49 Municipal Project will be granted under Operative Programme “Administrative Capacity” (OPAC )

The Managing Authority to the OP “Administrative Capacity” will provide a financial grant of 3 955 077,87 BGN to 49 municipal projects. The work of the assessment commission under the proceedings of Priority Axis I “Good Management” and Sub-Priority 1.1 “Effective structure of public administration”, budget line BG051PO002/13/1.1-07, has already ended.
Within three months 69 project proposals have been submitted under the procedure and considered by the assessment commission. The approved 49 of them expect optimizing of the structure of the municipal administrations for achieving better efficiency and avoiding overlapping functions.
Due to the great number of proposals of high rate for quality the Managing Authority will suggest before the OPAC Monitoring Committee to increase the budget under the procedure in order to grant all the good projects.
The approved projects, as well as the reserved ones, which have successfully passed the assessment criteria but could not be granted due to the exhaustion of the budget, have been listed on the official web page of the Managing Authority.
