Schneider Electric Bulgaria named 2023 investor of the year in InvestBulgaria Agency competition

Schneider Electric Bulgaria EOOD is the winner in the 2023 Investor of the Year category of the 18th annual competition held by the InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA).

The award was presented by Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel to the company's Managing Director Martin Yordanov at a ceremony attended by central and local government officials, representatives of employers' organizations, bilateral chambers of commerce and industry, and other official guests.

BTA is a media partner of the Investor of the Year Competition.

Eligible for the honours are companies that have advanced significantly their development through sustainable and efficient investments, have created new jobs, and are implementing high technologies, in line with IBA's target of promoting smart and sustainable economic growth.

In this year's competition, companies were distinguished in 11 categories:

- Investment in Human Capital: Technical Components Bulgaria EOOD.

- Investment in Business Expansion: Amer Sports Bulgaria EOOD.

- Investment Highly Contributing to a Region's Development: Blue Summer 23 OOD.

- Low Carbon Footprint Investment: Heidelberg Materials Devnya JSC.

- Bulgarian Municipality with Most Investments for 2023: Stara Zagora.

- Sustainable Business: Bade Bulgaria KD.

- Successful Start-up:
