The Dutch-Bulgarian Business Association (DBBA) hosted a networking event with the participation of over 100 business representatives. The event was held on February 29 in Sofia, Launchee.space - an ideal environment for networking and conversations.
In his welcome speech, Edward Simmelink, chairman of the Board of DBBA, emphasized the excellent partnership with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). Tsvetan Simeonov, chairman of the BCCI, expressed his support for the activities of the Dutch-Bulgarian Business Association and emphasized the importance and significant potential of trade and economic cooperation between the Netherlands and Bulgaria.
DBBA thanked the Flemish Balkan Business Club, represented by the resident Carlo Vandekerhoff, for the cooperation and support provided in organizing the meeting.
During the event, DBBA signed a strategic partnership agreement with Sofia Tech Park, the first science and technology park in Bulgaria, a prestigious place for scientific research and innovation. The goal of the agreement is to strengthen the scientific and business exchange between Bulgaria and the Netherlands in high-tech innovations.
DBBA also signed memorandums of cooperation with the American-Bulgarian Business Association (ABBA) and Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF). The aim is to enhance business connections, work on joint projects and offer more and diverse opportunities to DBBA members.
During the meeting DBBA members presented their activities and future projects – HRS, Scorpio Security, Acta Pharma, Skillo, and Cluster desktop.
