Sofia Economic Forum VI will take place on January 27 at the Sofia Balkan Palace. Τhe Forum, organized by the Delphi Economic Forum since 2018, serves as a high-level convergence point for the most influential Bulgarian and international political, corporate, and intellectual leaders aiming to address the pressing challenges confronting Bulgaria, Europe, and the wider world.
The 2026 edition of the event will highlight the development of the economy, infrastructure, and energy sector in Southeast Europe. The focus will be on strengthening Bulgaria's economic and energy position strategically in the region, following its accession to the Eurozone. Attention will be given to the country's energy transformation through investments in natural gas and renewable energy infrastructure and the modernization of transmission networks to improve regional connectivity.
The conference will also focus on the role of foreign direct investment and tourism as key pillars of sustainable regional development.
