BCCI fulfilled its goals and plans in support of business for 2018

On 12 March, a regular annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held, which adopted the Report on the activity of the Chamber in 2018, BCCI’s Annual Financial Report for 2018, the Position of the Executive Council of BCCI on the Report for 2018, and the Report on the activity of the Supervisory Council in 2018.

In order to achieve the goals and objectives of the Chamber, the Board of Directors adopted the Programme for the activity and the Budget for 2019.

The Board of Directors reviewed and adopted the Report of the Board of Directors on the activity and the financial results of BCCI in the period 2014 – 2018, the Report on the implementation of the Guidelines for the activity of BCCI in the period 2014 – 2018, the Draft of the Guidelines for the activity of BCCI in the period 2019 – 2023, and the Draft Budget for 2019-2023, which will be presented to the General Assembly of the Chamber.

In order to improve the working conditions of the Bulgarian business, the Board of Directors commissioned the BCCI to improve its activities on the collection of proposals and signals for administrative burdens and corruption, which would be presented to the respective competent bodies for assistance in their resolution.

The Chamber’s Programme for 2019 is open and can be updated in line with the country's economic situation as well as complemented with ideas and suggestions by members and partners of the Chamber, companies and branch organizations.
