Young people with higher education aged up to 29 and without experience in their relevant field can apply for 1,457 jobs in administration, the Employment Agency said.
The opened positions were declared by the central authorities, regional and municipal administrations participating in the Agency’s Launch in Career programme. A total of 10,323 young people participated in the programme from 2002 to 2013 and some 50 per cent of these found jobs with other employers as a result of the professional experience they have acquired.
A total of 547 young people will be able to begin their careers at the central institutions. Open jobs under the programme were posted at the Council of Ministers, the National Assembly, all ministries, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Patent Office, the National Revenue Agency, the National Social Security Institute, the Employment Agency, the State Agency for Child Protection, the Customs Agency, the Social Assistance Agency and the Registry Agency, among others.
Young law, economic and IT graduates are most needed, as well as graduates of management and administration, social activities, engineers, architects, builders, linguists, ecologists and others.
