EU club meeting, 4 July 2022


The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing the EU Club meeting on the occasion of the assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union by the Czech Republic as of 1st July 2022.

The EU Club with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry gathers diplomats, politicians, bankers, businessmen and journalists. The goal of the forum is to acquaint them with the results achieved during the past presidency as well as with the priorities of the new one.

The current challenges the EU is facing will be reflected in the priority areas for the Czech Presidency. Top five of them related to recovery, security and resilience will be presented at the EU Club.

Following the draft agenda three main topics will be discussed: 

  • Results achieved during the French presidency of the Council of the EU in the first half of 2022
    H.E. Ms. Florence Robine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Bulgaria 
  • Priorities of the Programme of the Czech presidency of the Council of the EU
    Mr. Petr VÁVRA , Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Sofia
  • Support to Small and Medium Sized Companies
    Bulgarian Development Bank
 

The event will be hybrid on 4 July 2022, at 15:30h at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and in Zoom  platform.
