BCCI and Bulgarian Commercial and Economic Section in Cairo unite efforts to preserve the positive trend in bilateral trade between Bulgaria and Egypt

Plamen Vasilev, appointed as Head of the Commercial and Economic Section of Bulgaria in Cairo and the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov discussed during a meeting at the Chamber the economic relations between Bulgarian and Egypt.

The successful business mission to Cairo in February this year organized in cooperation with Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry was noted, when the draft of a new Memorandum of Understanding between BCCI and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce was presented. The two organizations have been partners since 1998. BCCI also cooperates with the Federation of Egyptian Industries, the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association and the Canada – Egypt Business Council.

The Chamber and the Commercial and Economic Section in Cairo agreed to unite their efforts and cooperate actively in order to preserve the upward trend in bilateral trade and the positive trade balance for Bulgaria, as well as to encourage and assist Bulgarian businesses with interests in North Africa.
