Bulgaria’s construction production index rose by 4.9% year-on-year in July 2026, according to calendar-adjusted data released by the National Statistical Institute on September 10. On a monthly basis, construction output decreased by 0.6% compared with June, preliminary seasonally adjusted data showed.
In July 2026, compared with the same month of 2025, output in building construction increased by 9.5% and civil engineering by 5.0%, while specialized construction activities declined by 0.2%.
Compared with the previous month, output in specialized construction activities fell by 0.8%, civil engineering by 0.5%, and building construction by 0.4%.
