Conference on the “Liberalization of Trade and Services in the Danube, Western Balkan, and CEFTA Regions”, 28 September 2016, Sofia

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), together with the DIHK-CEFTA Partnership Project “Implementation of CEFTA in order to improve the internationalization of SEE economy”, the Western Balkans Chamber Investment Forum (WB CIF), and the Danube Chambers of Commerce Association (DCCA) organizes a Conference on the “Liberalization of Trade and Services in the DanubeWestern Balkan, and CEFTA Regions” that will take place on 28th September 2016 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Conference will be a follow-up to the 6th Danube Region Conference organized by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO) on 13th September 2016 in Vienna.

The barriers in trade in the Danube region, Western Balkans and CEFTA countries region are very often related to technical issues, export related measures, shipment formalities etc. These obstacles are deeply connected to transport, infrastructure, logistics, tourism and related sectors. Thus the conference Liberalization of Trade and Services in the Danube, Western Balkans and CEFTA Regions will give floor to all parties involved in the process of facilitation of trade and improvement of transport infrastructure for the benefit of business. The event will be an excellent tool for encouraging synergy between the countries in the Danube Region, Western Balkans and SEE and to support the interest of SME businesses in international trade.

For more details about the organization of the Conference, you could contact the “International Cooperation and International Organizations“ Directorate of BCCI at +359 2 8117 494, 8117 497 or at m.markova@bcci.bg   and v.velichkov@bcci.bg
