BCCI received a letter from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) regarding the attempted coup in Turkey

“We reiterate our firm belief in Turkey’s democratic future and call on our friends to be supportive of the Turkish normalization process aiming to restore public order at once”, says the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Rifat Hisarciklioglu in an official letter sent to BCCI regarding the attempted coup in Turkey on 15th July 2016.

In response, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov expressed relief that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) has not been involved in these events and will be able to continue to carry out its obligations to business in Turkey for assistance in the development of the national economy and expansion of the international economic cooperation, including with Bulgaria.

“I would be most grateful to continue to receive information about the Turkish economy and opportunities for development of economic relations from TOBB, as our largest and most serious partner in Turkey”, Mr. Simeonov concludes.
