Bulgaria has been ranked 43rd on INSEAD's Global Talent Competitiveness Index, which was launched on 26th November 2013.
After Bulgaria come Macedonia (52nd), Greece (56th), Romania (63rd), Turkey (67th) and Serbia (79th), which makes the Bulgarian economy the most competitive in the Balkans. The good assessment is due to the ability to retain talents – 33rd place.
Тhe index covers 103 countries, representing 86.3% of the world's population and 96.7% of global GDP. Switzerland is placed at the top, followed by Singapore and Denmark.
