Eurogroup President Еxpresses Strong Support to Bulgaria for European Stability Mechanism Membership

Eurogroup President Kyriakos Pierrakakis sent a message of strong support to Bulgaria during the international conference ‘Building Resilience Together: Bulgaria’s ESM Membership’.

In a video message to the participants and guests in the Conference, Mr. Pierrakakis defined Bulgaria’s accession to the euro area and the European Stability Mechanism as a historic success.

In his address to the Bulgarian audience, the President of the Eurogroup highlighted the strategic horizons facing the country: „Bulgaria can invest in its priorities, compete and prosper in a changing world and, above all, create greater opportunities and a better future for its citizens. Bulgaria has taken another important step in this shared European journey. Our task now is to move forward together with the same confidence and ambition for Europe’s future.“
